As we edge nearer to the last few days of 2018, the team at Midas would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients for their custom this year. We’ve been involved in some very exciting projects and have continued to produce mouldings for some of our longest standing clients. We’ve had a very busy year and would just like to highlight a few of the things we’ve been up to.
FAST and Engineering Material Shows
In May 2018, we attended both the FAST and Engineering Material shows at the Motorcycle Museum and at Duxford, helping to network with new contacts in the engineering sector. The locations, which are highly engineering-focused, were the perfect backdrop for these two exciting exhibitions.
Supporting Medtec and Medilink East Midlands
Midas are pleased to continuously support the Medtec sector through innovative tooling and moulding techniques. This year we attended the Innovation Day in June, as well as the National Life Science Expo in November. It’s great to see how the industry is evolving and finding ways to adapt to new challenges and we’re looking forward to returning next year!
Strong Year for Repeat Mouldings
Our tooling methods allow us to produce around 2000 parts per annum for our clients and this year has seen us running our overtime systems full-time all year. We are proud to build long-lasting relationships with our clients and are looking forward to continuing our work with them in 2019.
Huge Variety of Innovative Moulding Projects
At Midas, we’re excited to have been involved in a diverse range of projects this year. From EV chargers, medical devices and robotics, through to haptic and beauty therapy devices, we’ve seen it all. We’re constantly challenging our capabilities and are pleased to have been selected for these projects.
New Contracts Lined up for Q1
Just because it’s almost Christmas, it doesn’t mean the team at Midas is slowing down. We’ve already got lots of new and exciting projects lined up for Q1 2019 and will be investing heavily in our CNC machinery and technical offerings. We’ve already upgraded many of our systems and have introduced a new, larger moulding machine to bolster production capacity as well as aiding the production of extra-large RIM moulding, an area we are pleased to specialise in.
