The client requests on average 2,000 fully-assembled and tested products per annum, demonstrating our ability to produce high-volume RIM mouldings.
Our own low-cost composite tooling system, MRIM™, allows for up to 5,000 cycles per tool, a highly effective solution for the solar panels casings. Once the rugged and durable PU enclosures are moulded, we load the solar panel itself, antennae and all additional wirings and connections into to their correct positions.
With a team of qualified and experienced engineers on hand, we are confident in our assembly services. Stringent testing is carried out throughout the entire process, including twice during build and a third time once assembly is complete.
We have agreed with our client that no inspection or testing will be carried out by them once assembled therefore it’s vital that we ensure each and every product is in fully-working order before it leaves our site so as to not compromise installation.
Once completed, the unit is uniquely marked and placed in dedicated packaging before being shipped directly to the installation site. This turnkey RIM moulding and assembly service can be offered to all of our clients looking to reduce the production time of their products.
Midas is also extremely flexible when it comes to providing assembly services to our clients. We can provide 1-off, 100-off or more and can offer part and full-build solutions. Our facilities and capabilities include; anti-static assembly, a clean area for assembly, a skilled and dextrous workforce, multiple testing operations and the procurement and stocking of third-party assembly items.
