Following a successful audit by NQA Ltd our PAS 2060 Scope 1,2 & 3 Carbon Neutrality certification has been renewed.
The audit has confirmed the criteria for reaching Carbon Neutrality have been met for 2022.
With our entire manufacturing operation being ‘Carbon Neutral’, this means that our carbon responsibility is essentially made up of product deliveries and embedded carbon in our raw materials.
Our commitment to further reduction in 2023 has seen us purchase an all-electric Ford E-Transit van that is already making carbon free deliveries and a move to tooling boards and polyurethanes that have a proportion of plant-based polyol.
The remaining carbon we are responsible for is fully mitigated through our relationship with The Forest of Marston Vale and our ongoing purchase of Pending Issuance Units (PIU’s)
Midas remains absolutely committed to doing all that we can to negate our impact on climate change and make amends for our carbon intensive past.
