Today saw our new All Electric Ford ETransit make its first deliveries
Midas' M.D. Alan Rance was fortunate enough to be able to make the very first Carbon Zero delivery, poetically it was a delivery of Precision Sand Castings to our local Powder Coater followed by a batch of Precision Polyurethane Mouldings to a local customer.
We will now begin our logistics refinement in order to maximise the number of Midas deliveries that are made with a Carbon Zero footprint.
As we work hard on our PAS 2060 Scope 3 emissions this investment will enable us to reduce the number of multi drop courier deliveries made by around 50%, in real terms this could mean a reduction of over 70 tons of CO2 in the first year!
