2019 is Midas’ 30th year in business but it is also the year that sees us take full responsibility for our own impact on climate change and take positive action to try and reverse the negative impact we have made to the world.
30 years in business is an impressive statistic and one that should be genuinely celebrated, but with success comes responsibility and we take that very seriously. Considering Midas began trading in 1989 with just two driven and talented patternmakers, we are proud to have grown into a 75 strong, UK market leading polyurethane moulding company that supplies some of the UK’s most advanced, successful, innovative and disruptive companies.
However, 30 years is just part of our story and we still have the desire and drive to continue trading way into the future, therefore 2019 gives us the platform for Midas to become ‘The RESPONSIBLE plastics manufacturing company’.
Positive, incremental GREEN changes may make a big difference to a business without affecting quality and supply but they help generate a spirit of optimism for the future, we have embraced this change for good and we are all the better for it.
We are looking forward to telling the story of our GREEN INITIATIVE over the coming months, the journey has been an inspiration to us all and we hope to inspire those who read it to play their part in rapidly building the momentum that is critical to making a real difference to climate change.
