Running 26.2 miles isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but on Sunday 14th April 2019, Midas' Sales and Marketing Manager, Rachel will be lining up with around 60,000 other runners to compete in the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris.
Like many that complete such feats of endurance, Rachel has built in hours of training around her very demanding role at Midas but she approaches her fitness in the same way she approaches her work at Midas, with an enthusiasm and dedication to excel - always pushing to get the absolute best results.
Anyone who has trained for a Spring marathon will know that most of the training is completed through the dark Winter months, in the cold, rain and even snowy conditions so the warmth of a little Spring sunshine and lighter days is a very welcomed relief come race month.
Rachel will start her epic run through the most famous avenues of the French capital - from the foot of the Arc de Triomphe the route heads towards the Place de la Concorde and from the Rue de Rivoli she will sweep through the Place de la Bastille, see Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower before after 26.2 long miles she will head towards the finish line on the Avenue Foch.
The whole team at Midas wish Rachel and all those that have spent hours of dedicated time in training every success and are very proud of her achievements to date.
