Midas Pattern Company has been a member of the Pattern Model and Mould Manufacturers Association (PM3A) since the mid 90’s and has benefitted greatly through being an active and involved member
A small and close knit trade association serving the needs of Patternmakers and Modelmakers along with suppliers to our industry. The PM3A has a proud heritage that can be traced back to its inception as the National Society of Master Patternmakers in 1955.
Strong networking opportunities primarily serviced through an active association council ensure that enquiries and leads are channeled through to appropriate members efficiently, as well as advice, support and up to the minute industry news.
Midas’ MD, Alan Rance, a PM3A Past president continues to support the association and is currently campaigning to bring more potential members into the association by drawing them into council meetings where they can see first hand how beneficial an active involvement can be.
The association’s long standing secretary, Andrew Turner, recently wrote about the many benefits of membership in the May edition of ‘Cast Metal & Diecasting Times’, his article is attached for further information and includes some nice pictures of our patternshop from the past and the present.
If you would like to know more then please don’t hesitate to contact the association directly or by contacting Alan Rance here at Midas.
