We are very excited to announce that The Midas Green Initiative: A Manufacturer’s drive to become Process Carbon Neutral’ has been shortlisted for an Energy Management Award.
The Energy Institute’s 21st annual awards competition received over 120 entries from across 29 countries including India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, United States, Canada and many European countries so you can imagine how thrilled we are to be shortlisted from so many world class entries.
We entered this award to continue to give voice to our mission, to show case the achievements and progress we have made to date on reducing our carbon footprint and overall energy usage. As a UK manufacturing company in the plastics industry it is vital that we shine a light on the need to become more environmentally responsible but also highlight the amazing benefits that can be achieved through positive and actionable change.
The EI Awards showcase organisations, projects and individuals of excellence in the energy sector, and the judges were particularly impressed with the high-level of commitment, innovation and potential that we have demonstrated in our entry! We look forward to the finals which take place on the 26th November and wish all the entries the very best of luck.
