Midas Set to Measure Success

  • Our industry relies on accuracy and precision
  • Equipment is constantly monitored and calibrated
  • Accredited to ISO 9001:2015

We would not be in the market-leading position we are now without our intense pursuit for excellence. Accuracy is key in our industry, especially when projects require the precise fabrication of multiple parts or a polyurethane enclosure is required to fit exactly over a pre-existing unit. Every millimetre counts and therefore we undertake inspections in our dedicated department to ensure quality is achieved every time.

With comprehensive inspection capabilities including a GOLD FARO 7-axis inspection arm coupled with Delcam's PowerInspect software, we are well placed to inspect and interrogate everything that we manufacture. Our state-of-the-art equipment is constantly monitored and calibrated to ensure precision is upheld continuously.

From 100% inspection on an automotive fixture to key dimension validation on a new polyurethane moulding, our quality assurance team will be able to support you every step of the way. Our process generally includes the comparison of the final product to the original CAD data used to produce it. This then generates a detailed inspection report highlighting any anomalies and whether these differences fall within the agreed tol erance.

Our product assembly department also helps to improve quality control as products pass through Midas. We oversee the final assembly of each customers’ project, ensuring mouldings are handled and assembled properly before final shipment adding another level of control with having to use third-party assembly companies.

We are proud to boast ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, dedicated to reviewing quality assurance processes within a business. The accreditation, audited by a UK premier body, provides our clients with the confidence they need to rely on Midas for their next RIM moulding project or tooling needs.
