Spray tans are becoming an ever more popular way of achieving that summer holiday glow while avoiding the dangers of UV exposure. As the risks of sun damage become clearer, the demand for alternative ways of tanning is growing and with it the need for cost-effective, efficient methods that will save time.
When the team at Midas were approached by a Scottish design company to assist with making a high-quality and photo-realistic block model for a leading spray tan and beauty company, we were keen to be involved.
The client required a 3D visualisation of their newest portable device to present to their stakeholders. It was imperative that the block model was created with some element of functionality in order to demonstrate the improved capabilities of the system.
With tight deadlines to meet, our team of experts successfully managed the production of multiple spray booth models in a variety of colours. The project also included the application of graphics which we completed with ease.
The entire commission really drew on all the skills of the team here at Midas, but we had the experience and expertise to go above and beyond the client’s brief.
The stakeholders were impressed with the block model Midas created and the finalised systems are now in full production using a network of reputable suppliers. Described as the ‘Charlie’s Angel’ of spray tan applicators, the systems have even featured on national television.
The end result gave the therapists who apply spray tans more confidence in the delivery of the service and the clients a much more pleasurable experience.
